Reporting U.S. Federal Non-deductible Time & Expenses

Track related time & expenses, but no immediate reporting required. 

 

You will have to record your time and expenses spent on planning activities​ (ex. meetings to decide whether the company should act and any work performed to support your participation in those meetings). When the company ultimately acts, all these time and expenses will have to be reported. If the company does not act, there are no reporting requirements.

Anyone else who was involved in this activity (ex. preparation, research) may also have tracking requirements. Please direct them to consult this workflow.

However, please refer to this document as you may have state and/or local reporting requirements. Contact the KCPS Political Compliance Team or the respective State Government Affairs Manager for additional guidance.
