1. Have candidate seek tailored guidance on specific Disqualification Statement language from their supervisor or ethics office. Candidate should then sign and submit the Disqualification Statement to their supervisor or ethics office.
2. Retrieve and file a copy of the signed Disqualification Statement and written confirmation of submittal BEFORE:

An applicant comes on-side, as expenses could be incurred (includes screens or full interviews); OR
-
An activity that would lead to an offer decision (i.e. on-side interview process, video or in-person).
